20 inches (51cm) high - 45 inches (115cm) long - 43 inches ( 119cm) high - 27 inches ( 69cm) high
All four bronze sculptures were originally carved from a single piece of English walnut or lime wood, moulded and then cast in bronze.
Ian G Brennan first became a professional wood carver in 1984 and in 1996 began producing his sculpture in bronze initially using his original wood carvings as the master copy for his bronzes. Ian's first exhibition was in Mayfair, London and later he began exhibiting his realistic wood carvings and bronze sculpture widely throughout the UK. During the past decade however as commissions increasingly took up most of his time, these art exhibitions have virtually stopped and as Ian works mostly to commission these showings of his work in galleries are today a rather rare event.
Although Ian now rarely exhibits in art galleries, throughout his career he has still put together a rather unique collection of woodcarvings and bronze sculptures and nowadays Ian's one man exhibitions have been almost exclusively set in the somewhat more formal surroundings, which have included Museums; The Queens Room on-board the Cunard Liner the QE2; Burlington House, Home of the Royal Academy of Arts and also Ian was recently invited to exhibit his wood carvings and bronze sculpture within the historic setting of St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle
