The Victory sculpture is being carved entirely from original oak from the lower gun deck of Admiral Lord Nelson's famous Flagship HMS Victory, removed in 1990 during the ships 80 year old refurbishment programme.
Whilst Ian was carving the Victory sculpture as many off-cuts as possible from the original oak beams were retained and a piece of this old oak can now be made available along with your print. The complementary piece of Victory oak will be a completely random shape, condition and size but should be at least 1 x 1/2 x 1/4 inches.
